Mrs. Jewell M. Hamor passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 23, 2007, at her rural Farmington residence at the age of 92 years, 1 month & 2 days. Jewell was born Dec. 21, 1914, in Farmington & was the daughter of the late Andrew J. Hawn & Mary Evelyn 'Coffer' Hawn. Also preceding were: her husband, Elijah Earl "Red" Hamor (Nov. 17, 1983); 1 Daughter, Sally McDaniel (Apr. 1, 2003); 4 Sons: Howard Winston Hamor; David Earl Hamor & twins, in-infancy; 4 Sisters: Marie Hawn; Xenia Richardson; Trixie Schaefer & Sherry Welch; 2 Brothers: Andy Hawn & Bill Hawn; 2 Grandchildren: Eugene McDaniel & Tamara Dalton.

Jewell retired in 1980 from Trimfoot Shoe Company & was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: 3 Daughters: Ruby Meyer, of Farmington; Mary Dalton, of Park Hills & Sharon Hamor, of Farmington. 1 Son: Joel (& Norma) Hamor, of Ste. Genevieve County; 11 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great, Great-Grandchildren; numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, 5-8 pm, with visitation resuming Friday, 7:00 a.m.

Funeral: Friday, 10:00 a.m., January 26, 2007,

at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Jay Lacey officiating.

Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve County.
