Jewell Mills-Parker

Gladys "Jewell" Mills-Parker, 88, of Farmington, passed away peacefully, May 10, 2024, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington.  She was born September 20, 1935, in St. Francois County, to the late William “Bill” Hoff and Julia (Mitchell) Reeves.  When health would allow, Jewell attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Park Hills.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed singing in church, yard sales, going out with her friends for dinner and having fun.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Oren “PeeWee” Mills; second husband, Gerald “Jerry” Parker; son, David Mills; grandson, Chadrick Taylor, siblings, Zelda Hughes, Melba Reeves, Jim Hoff, Gerald Hoff, Ralph Hoff; and son in-law, Jim Ely.

Jewell was survived by her children, Diane Ely, Danny Mills and wife Karen, Doug Mills and wife DeAnna; grandchildren, Travis Hardy, Tim (Emily) Hardy, Tracy (Marcus) Laut, Justin (Tiffany) Ely, Ryan (Cynthia Black) Ely, Ryan (Tori) Heller, Calvin Mills, Ryan (Ashlee) Finley, Tyler (Juliana) Finley, Joe Colbert, Jacob (Paige) Colbert, Kierston Mills, Marlaina (Dashay) Hunt, Tina Ely-Neubrand and Brandon Ely; numerous great-grandchildren; brother Kenneth Hoff and wife Janice; sister, Janie Sams and husband Gary; daughter in-law, Sandy Mills; sister in-law, Karon Hoff; children and grandchildren of Jerry Parker.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM. Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Irondale Assembly of God 205 Hickory St. Irondale, MO. 63648 with Pastor Derek Ruble officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
