Jim Demand

James Albert DeMand of Ironton, MO passed away November 25, 2012 in Pilot Knob, MO at the age of 84 years. He was born July 2, 1928 in Arcadia, MO the son of August and Carolyn (Reichert) DeMand. On October 1, 1954 he was united in marriage to Bernadine Moses who preceded him in death on August 27, 1990. To this union two sons were born; Donald and wife Dorothy "Sam" DeMand of Tulsa, OK, and Ronald and wife Sheila DeMand of Maryland Heights, MO. Also surviving are his sister, Mary Womack of St. Louis, MO, his dear friend Audrey Garrison of Lesterville, MO, four grandchildren; Stefanie and Michael DeMand of Maryland Heights, and Alex and Eric DeMand of Tulsa, OK, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Joe DeMand and his sister, Dorothy Condon. Jim was a 1946 graduate of Ironton High School.
