Jim Wells

Jim Wells, 79, of Desloge, passed away August 8, 2023, at Mercy South in St. Louis.  He was born September 29, 1943, in Flat River, to the late C.R. Wells and Eva (Nolan) Wells-Trokey.   Jim was fond of horses and Nascar, but loved reminiscing about his trucking days and how much he enjoyed being an over the road truck driver.   He was a big Trump supporter and Woody’s Bar in Leadwood, was a favorite place to go and socialize with his friends, but most of all, Jim loved the time he was able to spend with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Beverly Willis.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Jamie Fessler and husband Tim; stepchildren, Tammy Collins and husband Bill, Donald Huntsman; grandchildren, Corinne Fessler, Brittany Collins, Nathan Kinnard; and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, August 14, 2023, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.  Reverend Mike Barton will be officiating.  A private family Inurnment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.
