Mr. Jimmie Jake Kitchell, Sr.

Jimmie Jake Kitchell Sr. of Ironton, MO passed away December 13, 2012 at his residence at the age of 72 years. He was born November 20, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to the late Jake and Bertha (Griffey) Kitchell. On June 24, 1964 he was united in marriage to Wilma Jean Brown who preceded him in death on January 16, 2012. To this union two children were born; Jimmie Jr. and wife Stephanie Kitchell of Ironton, MO and Sherry and husband Eddie Harr of Bismarck, MO. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Kevin "Budd" Brewer of Farmington, MO, and Whitley and Noley Kitchell of Ironton, MO, a brother, Jackie Stricklan of Sullivan, MO, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jimmie was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Norman Stricklan and four sisters; Elizabeth Stricklan, Betty Mergle, Francis Purler, and Juanita Thompson.
