Jo Ashby

            Jo Ashby, 72, of Park Hills, passed away on May 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1947 in Bonne Terre to the late Ross and Evelyn (Eden) Asher. She received her Associates degree in nursing from Mineral Area College. Jo loved going camping and her grandchildren were her greatest joy.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannie Ellis; brother, Rocky Lynn Asher; nephew, Curtis and niece, Mya.

            Jo is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Ashby; son, Adam Ashby (Tracy); four grandchildren, Heather Ashby, Matt Boyd, Brandon Boyd and Brianna Coleman; seven great-grandchildren, Jameson, Abel, Tristin, Isabella, Willow, Koen and Bostynn; nephews, Ross and Cody Asher; niece, Lana Ellis and sister-in-law, Brenda Asher.

            The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements under the care of C. Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Memorials can be directed to the American Heart Association.
