Jo Hall

February 24, 1969 — January 24, 2022

Jo Hall

Jo Hall, 52, of Bonne Terre, passed away on January 24, 2022, at his residence.  He was born February 24, 1969 in London, England, to the late Jerry and Margaret (Dawson) Hall.  Jo taught at the North County Intermediate School for over 20 years.  When he wasn’t teaching, you could find him taking photos of animals, planes, and other hidden gems full of character, just like him.  He loved sports, and you could often find him on the sidelines cheering on his nieces and nephews.  He also loved a good hamburger and was never one to turn down the opportunity to try somewhere new and interesting.  He loved his two girls, Holly and Megan Hall, and his family, friends, and students.  He had a huge heart and would do anything he could to help others or put a smile on their face.  He brought joy and laughter to those around him, and he will be dearly missed.

Jo is celebrating in heaven right now with his parents; his “Nan;” and brother-in-law Greg Pipkin, but most importantly, with Jesus his Savior.

Jo was never one for flowers nor would he ever ask for anything.  However, if you would like to help in any way, a memorial fund has been set up to help with final expenses.  Donations can be sent through Venmo to @jhallmemorial, or checks can be made to Holly and Megan Hall and mailed to 5628 Meadow Lane, Farmington, MO 63640.

Your outpouring of love, fond memories, and words of encouragement are so comforting and will be treasured in the days ahead.

At his request, there will be no traditional service, but we will be hosting a celebration in his honor and will announce details about that soon.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
