John Frederick Fear

John F. Fear, age 52, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus.  John was born in St. Louis, on Monday, January 3, 1972, to Gary and Gwendalyn (Brewer) Fear. 

He was preceded in death by his father Gary Fear. 

John's passion for the great outdoors was unparalleled. Whether he was hunting for arrowheads or diving into hands-on projects, he was always in his element, enjoying every moment to the fullest. John liked sports, particularly the St. Louis Cardinals, and enjoyed spending time watching games with his family. He was strong willed, and cared deeply for his family and friends. 

John leaves behind his loving wife Kimberly (Pfeiffer) Fear; four children Christopher Fear, Sara (Mark) Krill, Mary (Andrew) Brewer, Johnathan (Amy Jordan) Fear; step-daughter, Milah Frieben; grandchildren, Kagen, Mason, Maddyson, and Rylee Fear,  Caroline and  Caiden Krill, William Frieben; siblings, Samatha Spivey, Gerry Fear; cousins, Deanna Riley and Kenny Brewer, nephews, Jay Spivey, Sean Derickson, and Edwin Herbert  great niece, Gracelyn Derickson and great nephew, Xaixer Derickson; special friend, Debi Buhlinger.
