Fred Carron, 76, of Bismarck passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was born April 13, 1938, in Crystal City, to the late Amos and Ethel (Hewitt) Carron. He was a member of the St. John the Apostle in Bismarck, Immaculate Conception/Knights of Columbus #11882, and Arcadia Valley Elks #2330. Fred started Loana Contractors Inc., in 1970, which he owned and operated until 2005. He retired from Local #513 and raised cattle on his farm. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steve Carron, and one granddaughter, Brianna Carron. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sharon (Miller) Carron; one son, Greg Carron; grandchildren, Maggie (Josh) Giliberto, and Matt Carron; four brothers, Boyd (Babe) Carron, Paul (Judy) Carron, Frank Carron, and Mark (Ruth) Carron; two sisters, Chloe (Terry) DeClue, and Yvonne (Gene) Beasley; many nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held at St. John The Apostle in Bismarck, Thursday, March 5, 2015, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark S. Ebert officiating, assisted by Rev. Jim French. Interment will follow at St. John The Apostle Cemetery in Bismarck. Memorials may be directed to St. Vincent DePaul at Immaculate Conception.
