John Meyer, Jr.

          John Meyer, Jr., 76, of Park Hills, passed away December 20, 2022, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus.  He was born August 29, 1946, in St. Louis, to the late, John and Chloe (Keathley) Meyer.  John served his country in the United States Army.  He worked for Vee-Jay Cement Company and retired after 35 years.  John enjoyed going to shooting matches, in his spare time.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Kathy Portell.

          John is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon (Blair) Meyer; children, Brent Meyer and Sami Meyer; three grandchildren; and one brother, Donnie Meyer.

          Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
