John Nelms Sr.
John Nelms Sr., 87, of Herculaneum, passed away May 2, 2016 at Scenic Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born on November 3, 1928 in Globe, Arizona to the late John O. and Irene (House) Nelms.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Coleen Snider; and grandson, Brent Nelms.
John is survived by his wife, Marcella Nelms; five children, John E. Nelms Jr., Timothy Nelms and wife Soni, Rebecca Flatbush and husband David, Cecil Nelms, Ben Nelms and wife Kathie; sixteen grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Danny Pyeatt officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Hillcrest Cemetery.
