John Wayman Crow

Mr. John Wayman Crow passed away early Saturday morning, April 15, 2017, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center, in Farmington, at the age of 72 years, 7 months & 9 days. John was born September 6, 1944, in Ironton, MO, to Wayman Detring Crow (dec'd 1981) & Betty Crow Griffin (dec'd 2015).

John graduated from Farmington High School. He then graduated from the University of Missouri, Rolla, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1966. He married Nancy Aubuchon Crow on Sept. 4, 1965. he was a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois & Missouri. He worked & retired from Catepillar, Inc., in Peoria, IL, in 2003. John moved back to the family farm & enjoyed gardening and camping with his grandchildren. He enjoyed reading and loved classic cars. He was a devoted husband to his wife, children & grandchildren. He was a Deacon, Usher & Sunday School Teacher at Farmington First Baptist Church. He led many Bible Studies & enjoyed being with friends.

Survivors Include: his wife, Nancy 'Aubuchon' Crow, of Farmington. 3 children: Jerry W. (& Joy) Crow, of Independence, MO; Sharon L. (& Brian) Reeves, of Farmington, and Terry W. (& Trish) Crow, of Kirkwood, MO. 1 sister, Mary (& R.C.) Clevenger, of Mora, NM. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren: Becca & Matt Crow; Corrine, Evan, Caroline & Rachel Reeves; Mara & Ben Crow.

Visitation : Monday, 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday, 6:30-8:00 a.m. at TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc. Visitation then moved to and resumes @ 9:00 a.m. at Farmington First Baptist Church.

Funeral : Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., April 18, 2017

at : Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating

Interment follows at : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington
