Jose Luis Ramirez Sr.

Jose Luis Ramirez Sr., age 61 passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at his home near Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on October 21, 1960, in Laredo, Texas to Juan Jose and Feliz (Cuellar) Ramirez. In 1992 he was united in marriage to Brenda Lee Newland, she survives at the home. Other survivors include: three sons – Joseph Lewis and significant other Trisha Harris of Fredericktown, Terry Lee Ramirez also of Fredericktown and Jose Ramirez Jr. of Park Hills, Missouri; two daughters – Isabella Ramirez and Gracie Ramirez both of Park Hills; half-brother – Charley Cuellar of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren and aunts, uncles and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Viola Ramirez. Jose worked as a drywall finisher, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching movies and playing poker. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Calvary Church in Fredericktown. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., at Calvary Church with Pastor Randy Sawyer officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jose Ramirez Memorial Fund c/o/ Wilson Funeral Home.
