Mr. Joseph A. Poole, Sr., passed away January 28, 2003, at his Doe Run residence at the age of 71 years, 9 months & 24 days. Joseph was born April 4, 1931, in St. Louis, Mo., to Virgil John Poole & Nellie Ann 'Bozark' Poole. Also preceding-in-death were: his wife, Rita Lorraine Poole (Nov. 18, 1999); 1 Daughter, Teresa Poole, in-infancy; 2 Sons: Aloisus Poole, in-infancy & Joseph A. Poole, Jr. Also, 2 Sisters: Dorothy Noll & Helen Tucker. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 1 DAUGHTER: Tina 'Mrs. Richard' Pollick, of Bismarck; 6 SONS: John (& Bonita) Poole, of Doe Run; Paul (& Cathy) Poole, of Valles Mines; James Poole of Doe Run; Shawn (& Tracy) Kathcart, of Farmington; Delbert Mandrell, of DeSoto & Kevin E. Hafley, Farmington. 1 SISTER: Mary Poff, of Elvins; 1 BROTHER: David Poole, of Desloge. 8 Grandchildren; 6 Step-Grandchildren & 2 Great-Grandchildren also survive. Visitation Thursday, 5-9 p.m., & funeral Friday, 1:00 p.m., January 31, 2003, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Rev. Jay Lacey officiating. Burial at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
