Joseph E. Mcclaskey

Mr. Joseph E. McClaskey passed away at his Farmington residence on Saturday evening, July 4, 2015, at the age of 76 years, 10 months & 9 days. Joe was born on August 25, 1938, in Deep River, Iowa, and was the son of Homer D. McClaskey and Mary E. 'Johnson' McClaskey. Also preceding in death were: his wife, Betty (Murphy) McClaskey (March 11, 2012); 3 sisters, Donna J. Thompson; Doris "Doey" Mell and Glenda Vinyard. Also, 1 brother - Tommy David McClaskey.

Joe loved to golf and fish - but, most-importantly loved time with his family. Joe was a member of Farmington ELKS Lodge #1765 BPOE; St. Francois Country Club & the Memorial United Methodist Church, of Farmington. Joe also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Survivors Include: 2 daughters - Lisa (& Justin) Callahan, of Farmington; Lori (& Jim) Sease, of O'Fallon, MO. 2 grandsons : Derrick Callahan, of St. Louis & Garrett Callahan, of Farmington. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and 2 granddogs - Jake & Wilson.

Visitation : Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Thursday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Thursday, 11:00 a.m.

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Scott Hall officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington
