Joseph H. Fritsche

Joseph H. Fritsche, 61, of Bonne Terre passed into God's arms December 28, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus with his loving family and friends surrounding him. He was born May 12, 1953 in California to Herbert "Chick" Fritsche and Roberta (Casseaue) Bone. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved riding motorcycles, working on and racing sprint cars, playing golf and was an avid roller skater. Most of all Joe loved raising all of his girls and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one niece. Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dottie (McCubbins) Fritsche; three daughters, Sheri (Brian) Pratt, Katy Fritsche (fiancé Bill Schroeer), Natalie (Dan) Sparkman; three grandchildren, Dylan, Landon, Lane; two brothers, Jerry and Gene Fritsche; sister, Sheryl (Bruce) Pierce. Several aunts, uncles, family, friends, racing buddies and his four legged friends, Bo, Luke and Lucy also survive. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 beginning at 4:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery.
