Joseph "Carter" Miller

Joseph Carter Miller, known to most as "Carter", passed away January 8, 2018 in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 92 years. He was born February 9, 1925 in Marble Creek, Missouri the son of the late George Owen and Esther Ann (Matkin) Miller. On September 6, 1942 he was united in marriage to Mary "Bernice" Coleman who preceded him in death on May 8, 2005. To this union seven children were born; Joseph Francis Miller of Arcadia, Missouri, William Gerard "Jerry" Miller and wife Diane of Cuba, Missouri, Rose Mary Braun of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Thresa Ann Dunham and husband, John of Farmington, Missouri, Rita Carolyn Hipes and husband, Rick of Farmington, Missouri, Michael Andrew Miller and wife, Dorothy of Ripley, Ohio, and Paul Adrian Miller and wife, Cindy of Searcy, Arkansas. In addition to his children, Carter, is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
