Joseph William "Big Joe" Sansoucie

        Joseph William “Big Joe” Sansoucie, age 70, of Mineral Point, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at his residence.  Joseph was born on December 5, 1950 in Bonne Terre.  Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Leona Jones (Cane); two sons Kevin and Donnie Duncan, brothers Jim, Henry, Randy, Glenn, Raymond, and Jonny Sancoucie, sister Jennette Pruitt and his brother-in-law Kenny Hawkins.

Joe was a loving husband and father who loved his kids and grandkids dearly.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing cars and raising his grandchildren.

Big Joe is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Crystal Lyne (Vogt) Sansoucie; his children; Lori Benton, Meredith Sansoucie, Cynthia House (David), Shane Schultz, Jonathan Sansoucie (Leah), Dustin Sansoucie (Mandy), Nichole Sansoucie, Kaitlin Stokes, and Kameron Stokes, siblings; David Sansoucie, Cathy Hawkins and Faye Rector as well as ten grandchildren as well as many other friends and family members.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 4 pm to 7:30 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre and will conclude with  Funeral service at 7:30 pm. with Chaplin Jenna Firehammer officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to CZ Boyer and Son for funeral expenses. C.Z. Boyer and Son request masks or facial coverings to be worn at all times.
