Juanita Joyce Thompson

Juanita Joyce Thompson, age 100, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her home in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born on December 24, 1924, in Fredericktown, Missouri to George Washington and Gussie Estell (Adams) Sample.

She was united in marriage to Willard Wesley Thompson, he precedes her in death.

She is survived by one brother & sister-in-law – Gary & Angela Sample of Fredericktown; one grandson; great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one son – Lindell Ray Thompson; two brothers – George Sample and Donald Sample; five sisters – Mary Wells, Geneva Benson, Ella Kemp, Faye Meyer and Bernice Hamblin.

Juanita was a homemaker; she enjoyed working in her yard and reading the Bible and going to church at the Overland Christian Church in Overland, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 11:00 – 12:00 on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon also on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Michael officiating.

Interment will be at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
