Judith “Judy” Ann (Gowen) Johnston, age, 67, of Desoto, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 18, 2024. She was born on Monday, January 7, 1957, in Valles Mines to the late Rev. Glenn and Shirley (Moses) Gowen.

 

Judy worked as a general contractor along- side her late husband John for many years. She had a caring heart and would help anyone in need. She loved listening to music and enjoyed dancing, but most of all she loved being with her family. She was a member of Agape Faith Church.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Johnston; son, Robert “Nick” Pinkerton; brother, Terry Gowen and brother-in-law, David Boyer. 

 

Judy is survived by her loving son, Matthew Johnston and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Chloe, and David Pinkerton; great-grandson, Alex Pinkerton-Meinhardt; siblings, Brenda Boyer and Carol Spreckelmeyer and husband Mel along with several other family and friends.

 

 Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM at Agape Faith Church 3255 State Rd. V Desoto, Missouri 63020. Pastors Mel and Carol Spreckelmeyer to officiate.
