June Eleanor Evans

            June Evans, 87, of Desloge, passed away March 6, 2016, at NHC in Desloge. She was born October 11, 1928, in Quaker, to the late Paul Lyle and Alice Daisy (Martin) Wilkinson. June enjoyed quilting, crafts, crocheting, gardening and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon “Pete” Evans; son, Mark W. Evans; and sister Barbara Cook.

             June is survived by three children, Daniel Evans and wife Tina; Michael Evans and wife Retha; and Deborah Biller; grandchildren, Paula, Stacy, Cathy, Doug, Daniel, George, Mike, Kristina, Richard, Mark, Jessie, Casey, Jamie, Todd, Derrick, Devin, Alexis; many great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Louise Newcomber.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 10:30 AM to service time at 12:00 PM. Reverend Eddie Bone will be officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Quaker.  Memorials may be directed to the family, in care of, C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home.
