June Elizabeth Haefner

June Elizabeth (Ruppert) Haefner passed away January 16, 2016 in Ironton, Missouri at the age of 90 years. She was born on June 18, 1925 the daughter of the late Conrad and Matilda (Kempfer) Ruppert. On January 17, 1948 June was united in marriage to John Haefner who preceded her in death on January 17, 1975. She is survived by a brother, Robert Ruppert of Ironton, Missouri, a special friend Jill Elder of Fenton, Missouri as well as a host of many friends. June is preceded in death by her parents Conrad and Matilda Ruppert, her husband John Haefner, and a sister Katherine Felker. June worked as a secretary for US Steel, and most recently owned and operated the Green Roof Inn Bed and Breakfast in Ironton. June was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ironton.
