June Marie Farmer

            June Farmer, 85, of Park Hills, passed away June 30, 2016 at Country Meadows in Park Hills. She was born May 9, 1931 in Desloge, to the late Goff and Lovie (Eaton) Forshee. June was a loving and sacrificial mother who cared deeply for her children. She loved volunteering and was recognized by the State of Missouri for her efforts. She retired from EMAA as the director of accounting.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Farmer; two children, Kevin Farmer and Donna Farmer in infancy; and one brother Finis Forshee.

             June is survived by her son, Steven Farmer and one sister in-law, Ann Forshee. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Herod Cemetery in Desloge.
