Karen Ann Layton

Karen Ann Layton of Ironton, Missouri passed away December 17, 2019 in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 55 years. She was born January 21, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Richard and Floranna (Kutheis) Carter. On March 12, 1980 she was united in marriage to Carl Wayne Layton who survives. To this union two children were born; Becky Layton and Carl Layton both of Ironton, Missouri. Also surviving are three sisters; Patty Mays and husband, Terry of St. Louis, Missouri, Diane Morgenthaler and husband, Paul of California, and Stephanie Oliver and husband, Derek of St. Charles, Missouri, her brother; Richard Carter and wife, Lisa of Fenton, Missouri, five grandchildren; Breanna, Gavin, Hayden, Kason, and Braelynn, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Wayne Carter and her sister, June Carter. Karen was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
