Karen Queen, 52, of Park Hills, passed away November 22, 2021, at her home. She was born July 11, 1969, in Farmington, to Joseph McClanahan and Mary (Byers) Gilbert. She was a member of the Dogwood Church. Karen enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life and playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph McClanahan.
Karen is survived by her husband, Stephen Queen; children, Ashley (Cody) Eaton, Michael (Shalisa) Queen, and Joshua (Courtney Pinkard) Queen; grandchildren, Merci Eaton, Malcome Burr, Shalynn, Myla and Seth Queen, Rylee Pinkard, Hunter Arnold, and Mason Queen; mother, Mary (Byers) Gilbert; sister, Jodi (Randy) Green; mother in-law, Darla Queen; and sister in-law, Melissa (Kevin) Gidden; nieces, Sheranity Gidden, Mady McCoy, Shayla Gidden, Luci McCoy and Lauren McCoy; special friend, Crissy Bowen.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, November 26, 2021, from 11:00 AM until service time of 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery. Brother Dean Berry will be officiating. Memorials may be directed to C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
