Karion Sue Sutton

Karion Sue Sutton of Pilot Knob, Missouri passed away January 25, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 19, 1949 in Ironton, Missouri the daughter of the late Dallas and Nellie (Jones) Hamilton. On January 6, 1968 she was united in marriage to Charles Rolan “Doodle” Sutton who survives. To this union five children were born; Edna “Diane” Boswell and husband, Lester of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Jeffrey Scott Sutton and significant other, Shawn Barron of Annapolis, Missouri, Sarah LouAnne Sullivan and husband, Robert of Des Arc, Missouri, Glenn Randall Sutton of Pilot Knob, Missouri, and Delbert Leroy Sutton and significant other, Rachel Cash of Fenton, Missouri. Karion is also survived by two brothers; Drewie Hamilton of Annapolis and Vern Hamilton of Bonne Terre and her sister; Louise Toppins of Vulcan, Missouri, fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as a multitude friends and other relatives. Karion was preceded in death by a brother; Homer Hamilton, a sister; Sylvia Propst, one grandson, and one great grandson. Karion was a 1966 graduate of South Iron High School. She was a member of New Providence United Baptist Church. She has been a servant of the Lord and assisted her husband for many years in ministry. Karion loved to make crafts, especially Christmas ornaments. She enjoyed painting, drawing, gardening and cooking. She especially loved to quilt. More than anything she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to spoil them all. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Charles Sutton and Elder David White officiating. Visitation was on Tuesday evening, January 28, 2020. Interment was in Meadows Cemetery in Annapolis, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were her sons; Jeff Sutton, Delbert Sutton and Randy Sutton and her grandsons; Tyler Sutton, Todd Sullivan, Trey Bryant and Mike Shy.
