Kashton Davon Lewis, age 1 year, 3 months, and 12 days, the beloved infant son of Alaysia Lewis and Kourtland McMeekan, was born on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Farmington, Missouri. He passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his home in Desloge, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his great-great grandparents, Bill and Joan Whaley, and Robert and Wendy Lewis.
Kashton is survived by his loving parents, Alaysia Lewis and Kourtland McMeekan; maternal grandmother, Scheri Whaley and paternal grandfather, Troy Lewis; great grandmother, LaDonna Ziegler; special aunts, Kennedy Whaley, Elianah Whaley, special uncles, Nemiah Whaley, Cody Reeves, great uncle, Kyle Whaley and cousin, Oakley Sansoucie, along with many other aunts, cousins and family members.
Though his time on earth was brief, Kashton filled the hearts of those around him with immeasurable love and joy. He loved playing with his Hot Wheels cars and watching the children’s show, Miss Rachel. His beautiful smile could light up any room, and his sweet spirit will be remembered always. He was a tiny soul with a big personality, full of curiosity and charm. He loved opening drawers and pulling everything out, turning the simplest moments into little adventures. Sometimes he would catch an attitude out of nowhere, and it would make everyone smile—because how could someone so small be so full of sass?
He found joy in the little things, like brushing his teeth and splashing in water, giggling as he played. He loved being outside, feeling the breeze on stroller rides and taking in the world around him. And if you had food, you could count on him coming right after you—he wasn’t about to let anyone enjoy a snack without sharing.
He brought laughter, warmth, and light into every moment. Though his time was far too short, the love and joy he gave will never be forgotten.
Kashton will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his loving parents, family, and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Desloge on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service of 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Jeremy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre, where Kashton will be laid to rest.
