Kathryn Elizabeth Tucker, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her home in Fredericktown, Missouri. She was born on October 12, 1951, in Columbia, South Carolina to James Everett and Mary Ann (Priday) Tallent.

On March 3, 1973, in Lutesville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Barry Michael Tucker, he survives at the home.

Other survivors include his two children – Michael Culley (Rachel) Tucker and Kelsey Joseph (Brittany) Tucker both of Fredericktown; sister – Mona (Harold) Pyatt of Florissant, Missouri; brother – Terry (Linda) Tallent of Destin, Florida; grandchildren – Haley Ann Tucker, Brenna Lily Tucker, Riley Jo Tucker, Gehrig Michael Tucker; mother-in-law – Maxine Ruth Tucker and her faithful companion, her dog, Bailey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son – Wesley Tallent Tucker; brother – Charles Tallent and sister Bobbie Lee Tallent.

Kathryn was a schoolteacher, teaching at Fredericktown R-1 School for 20 years; she was an avid antique and doll collector and enjoyed watching crime shows. She was a member of First Christian Church and attended New Providence Church in Fredericktown.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Sutton and Elder David White.

Interment will be at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown.
