She was born March 29, 1960 in St. Paul, Minnesota.Kay was a member of the Covenant Bible Church.She was preceded by her mother, Hazel B. (Goodrich) Slater and her sister, Diana Kay Slater.Kay is survived by her father, Richard H. Slater and step-mother Gwen Slater of Desloge; brother, Dennis Richard Slater (Janis) of Grafton, Iowa; three sisters, Barbara Sue Pecoraro of Jennings, Vicki Ruth Brunk of Ironton, and Marcia Van Camp (Paul) of Duluth, Minnesota.Visitation is 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Friday (December 3, 2010) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services are 4:00 PM Friday (December 3, 2010) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Paul Van Camp and Rev. Marco Van Raalten officiating.
