Kenneth D. Skaggs

Kenneth Douglas "Poker" Skaggs, 65 of Bonne Terre passed away June 24, 2011 at St. Anthonys Medical Center. He was born November 26, 1945 in Bonne Terre. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kennard and Anna (Foeste) Skaggs; one daughter, Leslie Ann Skaggs; one granddaughter, Tara Lynn Paige Russell. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Barbara Lynn Skaggs of Park Hills; daughters, Tammy Stark of Ste. Genevieve, Terry (Mrs. Donald) Lorance of Ste. Genevieve, Peggy (Mrs. Ron) Sieli of Bonne Terre and Pamela Asher of Bonne Terre; sons, Kenneth D. Skaggs, Jr. and wife Cherie, William Shawn Skaggs and wife Marlena of Bonne Terre, Keith Skaggs and wife Sandy of Ste. Genevieve, James Pyeatt and wife Linda of Bonne Terre, Ervin W. Pyeatt and wife Tina of Bonne Terre, Billy Smith and wife Peggy of Frankclay; 32 Grandchildren; 29 Great-Grandchildren; three brothers, Danny Skaggs and wife Nancy of DeSoto, Dean Skaggs of Desloge and Wyman Skaggs and wife Beverly of Bonne Terre. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends also survive. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 5 PM until 9 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday at 11 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Sidney Laxton officiating. Burial will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery.
