Kenneth Ray West, Sr.

Kenneth Ray West passed away April 17, 2003, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis Co., at the age of 79 years, 5 months & 19 days. Kenneth was born Oct. 28, 1923, in Walnut Grove, Ark., to Floyd Orra West & Lora Minnetta 'Chaffee' West. Also preceding were: 2 Sisters, Mildred & Edna West; 2 Grandsons: John Millsap & James Crummitt; 1 Son-In-Law, James Lance. Ken was: * a US ARMY-Air Force Vet of WWII; * member, Granite City, IL. VFW Post #1300 & * member, Farmington Sunnyview Church of Christ. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His WIFE: Mabel Nadine 'Layton' West, Farmington. 3 DAUGHTERS: Linda Lance & Pam Crummitt, both of Granite City, IL; Pat West, of Farmington. 2 SONS: Kenny (& Sheila) West, of Springdale, AR; David (& Gulena) West, of Bourbon, MO; 3 SISTERS: Margaret Foshee, of Paragould, AR; Anna Foshee, of Scio, NY; Mary Ruth 'Mrs. Duane' Goode, of Everett, WA; 16 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. Visitation Saturday, 5-9 p.m., resuming Monday, April 21st @ 7 am. Note: There Will Be NO VISITATION on EASTER SUNDAY. Funeral Services will be Monday, 1 pm, April 21st @ TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Minister David Phillips & Minister Gorden Jantz officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Bonne Terre, MO. Memorials to: Donor's Choice.
