Kenneth Charles Settlemoir, age 78 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born on January 21, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Floyd Francis and Charlotte Grace (Homeir) Settlemoir. On May 2, 1959 in Waterloo, Illinois he was united in marriage to Charlotte Freeman, she survives in Fredericktown.
Other survivors include: one son & daughter-in-law - Kenny & Donna Settlemoir of Fredericktown; one daughter & son-in-law - Kathleen (Mike) Campbell of Farmington, Missouri; two sisters - Darlene McCoy of Arnold, Missouri and Judy Thorpe of Ballwin, Missouri; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Kenneth was a United States Army Veteran; he had worked as a welder for the St. Louis Ship Yard; he enjoyed farming and attended Grace Church of the Heartland.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Kevin Settlemoir and brother, Jerry Settlemoir.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Cureton officiating. Internment will be at the Little Vine Cemetery near Fredericktown with full military honor's.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
