Kenneth Wayne Menees

          Kenny Menees, 64, of Bonne Terre passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Tuesday, June 1, 1954 in St. Louis to the late Lea Steven and Jewell Beatrice (Holmes) Menees. Kenny was a member of the Second Baptist Church of East Bonne Terre. He loved the Lord and his family dearly. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, old classic cars and playing his guitar which he wrote 28 songs. Kenny was a man with many skills and talents who will be missed.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Steven Menees and a niece Michelle Menees.

          Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Glenda (Russell) Menees; children, Kevin Menees, and Dawnette Black and husband Gary; two grandchildren, Justin Mell and Ryah Jade Black; three great-grandchildren, Avia, Brylee and Jazlyn; five siblings, Ronnie Menees, Jimmy Menees and wife Tina, Michael Menees, Danny Menees and wife Cheryl, Beverly Brock and husband Jim.

          A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of memorial service at 12:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Rev. Stanley Payne officiating. Inurnment to follow at Adams Hillcrest Cemetery in Bonne Terre. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Huntington’s Disease Foundation PO Box 912 Salado, TX 76571.
