Larry Keith Guinn, age 82, of Fredericktown, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026. Born on September 23, 1943, in Cornwall, Missouri, to the late Thomas Roosevelt and Elizabeth (Sales) Guinn. Larry lived a life filled with hard work, love, and laughter.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by the love of his life of 43 years, Bonita “Bonnie” (Walker) Guinn; brother, Thomas “Bud” Guinn; sister, Eula “Toot” Sales; and son-in-law, Stephen Guinn.
Larry had a diverse career, working as a truck driver and farmer before retiring from the Fredericktown R-1 School District, where he served as a custodian. A member of the Twin Oaks and Mine La Motte Freewill Baptist Churches, he was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. His daughter, Karen Bible, recalls the joy he brought to those around him, often sharing his famous "4 cent joke" to evoke smiles and laughter.
An animal lover, Larry treasured his horse, Tinker, whom he broke and rode, embodying his passion for the outdoors and connection to animals. He was a dedicated father and friend, always looking to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Larry is survived by his adoring daughter, Karen Bible; best friend, Carolyn Amenlunke; many nieces, nephews, and countless friends also survive. Larry will be greatly missed but fondly remembered for his warmth, humor, and unwavering support of those around him.
The family will hold a public viewing at C.Z. Boyer & Son - Wilson Chapel on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on July 30, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
