Laura J. Lowe

Laura Jo Lowe, 75 of Festus, passed away April 11, 2011 at St. Louis, MO. She was born June 9, 1935 in Herculaneum. She was a member of Fairview Christian Chuch.She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert J. and Tinnie May (Derickson) Courtway; her husband, David Lowe; four brothers, Ernest, Jackie, Desmond and Jules Courtway.Laura is survived by one daughter, Lorri (Mrs. David) Pratte; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Mrs. Chip) Dunivan; Susan (Mrs. James) Robison; Bruce Pratte; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, William Bridgewater and wife Lucy; James Courtway; four sisters, Marjorie Files; Anna (Mrs. Boyd) Emmons; Julia (Mrs. Paul) Neal; and Palmie (Mrs. Charles) Trask. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13 from 5 pm until 9 pm at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Thursday, April 14 at 11:00 am at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will be private at Herculaneum Cemetery.
