Laverne Cunningham

Mrs. Jesse LaVerne Cunningham passed away late Friday morning, March 21, 2014, at Community Manor Nursing Home, in Farmington, at the age of 79 years, 5 months & 7 days. LaVerne was born Oct. 14, 1934, in Bonne Terre, & was the daughter of Jesse & Myrtle 'Smith' Turley. Also preceding-in-death were: 2 sons - Kevin Ray Cunningham (1964) & David Keith Cunningham (1975); 2 sisters - Dorothy Griffin & Alma Lee Pinkston. Also, 1 brother - Paul "Sonny" Smith.

LaVerne was retired from PCA (Production Credit Assoc,) & a life member of The Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: her husband of 61 years, Ronald Ray Cunningham, of Bonne Terre. 1 son, John (& Hannah) Cunningham, of Bonne Terre. 2 grandchildren - Tori Hutchison & Jonathan Cunningham. Also surviving are several Nieces; Nephews & a Sister-In-Law: Jean Schramm.

Visitation : Monday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Tuesday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., March 25, 2014

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Dennis Walker officiating.

Interment : Three Rivers Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve County
