Mrs. Leanna Dean Norris, 58, of rural Bonne Terre, passed away early Friday morning, February 25, 2005, at Parkland Health Center - South, in Farmington. Leanna was born Sept. 3, 1946, in Bonne Terre, to the late Leeman Herzel Mackley (Dec. 10, 1983) & Goldine Gladine 'Richardson' Mackley (Sept. 24, 2004). Leanna was united in marriage to Dennis Roy Norris on April 1, 1972.

Leanna was: * a lifetime member of Esther Baptist Church; * she was a Sunday School Teacher for 3 & 4 yr olds for 25+ yrs at Esther Baptist Church; * she graduated from SEMO State with a Secondary Education Degree & taught in the Central R-III School System from 1968-1998.

Survivors Include: Her HUSBAND: Dennis Norris, of Bonne Terre; 1 SON: Shannon (& Melissa) Norris, of Bonne Terre; 1 GRANDDAUGHTER: Avery Norris, of Bonne Terre; SPECIAL COUSINS: Bill & Georgia Mackley, of Bonne Terre; Allen Mackley, of St. Louis & Kimberly Mackley, of Farmington.

Visitation: Sunday, 3-9 pm. Visitation resumes Monday at 6 am

Funeral: Monday, 10 am, Feb. 28, 2005, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Charles Brown officiating & a eulogy to be delivered by Allen Mackley. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve County. Memorials may be made to: * Esther Baptist Church &/or * The American Red Cross.
