Leonard Edgar Parson

Leonard Edgar Parson, age 78 passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at his son's home in Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on July 25, 1946, in Mill Creek, Missouri, to Roscoe Leonard and Mary Lou (Bogart) Parson.

On August 26, 1964, in Fredericktown, he was united in marriage to Linda Ann Allen who preceded him in death on September 16, 2018.

He is survived by his three sons & daughters-in-law – Chris & Kari Parson, Brian & Tanya Parson and Leonard "Lenny" & Jamie Francis all of Fredericktown; twenty-one grandchildren and ten great grandchildren

In addition to his parents, and his wife he is preceded in death by his sister – Hazel Rogers.

Leonard was a United States Army Veteran; he had worked for Asarco Lead Company in Glover, Missouri; he enjoyed running heavy equipment and working on tractors and was a member of the Elks Lodge in Farmington, Missouri.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., also on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown with Associate Pastor Kris Belken officiating.

Interment will be at the Snowdenville Cemetery near Fredericktown with full military honor's.
