Leonard Roe

            Leonard Roe, 85, of Bonne Terre, passed away January 15, 2018 in Foristell. He was born December 28, 1932, in Qulin, MO., to the late Jack and Ruth (Carroll) Roe. He was a member of the Open Arms Full Gospel Church in Desloge. Leonard loved gardening, yard work and taking care of animals.  Leonard proudly served his country in the United States Army.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lorene (McGowin) Roe; siblings, Martha, Clara, Oma, Viva, Charles, John, and Victor. 

            Leonard is survived by his children, Dan Ray Roe and wife Monica, David Leonard Roe, Nathan Leonard Roe and fiancé Rebecca Anderson; six grandchildren, Heather Maxim, Shane Roe, Rachel Clingerbrewster, Jacob Roe, Brandon Roe, and Samantha Anderson; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Pastor Louis Nash will be officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
