Mrs. Leva Stone passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2003, at The Farmington Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home at the age of 94 years, 3 months & 29 days. Leva was born Feb. 2, 1909, in Ft. Douglas, Ark., to Miles Terry& Margaret "Maggie" 'Howard' Terry Phillips. Also preceding were her husband, Homer Stone, (July 31, 1975); 1 Sister, Ollie Ross; 1 Brother, Homer Terry; & 2 Half-Brothers: George & Hartsel Phillips. Leva was a member of the Knob Lick Church of God. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 1 DAUGHTER - Artie Detring, of Farmington; 2 SONS: Loman (& Shirley) Stone, of Farmington & Noble (& Velma) Stone, of Dodge City, KS; 2 STEP-SISTERS: Ella Mae Tilton, of Pyatt, Ark., & Luvena Howard, of Russellville, Ark. 2 HALF-BROTHERS: Frank Phillips, of Lapassas, TX & Marion Phillips, of Cheyenne, WY. 5 GRANDCHILDREN; 7 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN & 1 GREAT-GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER. Visitation, Sunday, 6-9 p.m., resuming Monday at 7 am & funeral Monday, 11 am, June 2, 2003, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington. Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials to: * HospiceCare, Inc. &/or Knob Lick Church of God.
