Mr. Lewis Warren Monie passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at his Farmington residence at the age of 79 years, 10 months & 25 days. Lewis was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Marquand, MO., & was the son of Marion N. Monie & Lillie A. 'Cobb' Monie. He was also preceded-in-death by his wife, Pauline Mae 'Skaggs' Monie (Nov. 4, 2001) & 1 Sister, Viola Myers.
Lewis was: a member & long-time Deacon at Farmington First Baptist Church & a US Navy Veteran of World War II.
Survivors Include: 1 Daughter, Brenda Sue 'Mrs. Jim' Caruthers, of Vassar, Michigan; 1 Son, Charles Bruce (& Jennifer) Monie, of Eagle River, Alaska; 1 Sister, Carol Francis 'Mrs. Jim' Hunter, of Farmington; 2 Grandsons: Craig Caruthers, of Farmington; Jason (& Kathy) Caruthers, of Greer, South Carolina; 1 Great-Granddaughter, Charlotte Caruthers, of Greer, South Carolina.
Visitation Monday, 5-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Tuesday, 7-8:30 a.m. at TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc..
Funeral: Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., October 3, 2006, at Farmington First Baptist Church with Dr. William C. Miller officiating. Interment follows in Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Marquand, Missouri.
