Lillian "Joan" Barton

Lillian "Joan" Barton of Ironton, Missouri passed away January 22, 2018 at her residence at the age of 72 years. She was born January 22, 1946 in Black, Missouri the daughter of the late Pallie Ray and Stella May (Schrum) Helms. On July 4, 1963 she was united in marriage to Wilmer Lee Barton who survives. To this union seven children were born; Judy Gill who preceded her in death, Bill Barton and his wife Sherri of White Pigeon, Michigan, Paul Barton who preceded her in death, John Barton and wife Jenni of Fowlerville, Michigan, Robert Barton and wife Dawn of Sturgis, Michigan, Lavinia Womble and husband, Jamie of Ironton, Missouri and Joanna Barton of Ironton, Missouri. Also surviving are her brother, Pallie Helms, Jr. of King's Mountain, North Carolina, her sister, Sallie Spencer of Iowa, her son-in-law, Lewis Gill, daughter-in-law, Amy Barton, twenty-five grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great grandchildren on the way, and a host of other relatives and friends.
