Linda Caroline Dunleavy of Ironton, MO passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 76 years. She was born on February 12, 1945, to the late William Adolph and Julia Augusta (Layton) Goetz. From 1964-1971, she was united in marriage to Sherman Twomey. On September 28, 1973, she was united in marriage to Patrick Allan Dunleavy who preceded her in death on July 11, 2009. Linda had ten children, eight of whom survive. She is survived by: Rick (Karen) Twomey of Lesterville, Missouri; Rodney (Patty) Twomey of Middlebrook, Missouri; Patricia (Jim) Brower of Rincon, Georgia; Allen (Chris Fox) Dunleavy of Park Hills, Missouri; Patrick “Wayne” Dunleavy of Arcadia, Missouri; Chris Dunleavy of Arcadia, Missouri; Mark (Christina) Dunleavy of Ironton, Missouri; Eli Dunleavy of Arcadia, Missouri; two bonus daughters: Mandy Lucy of Pilot Knob, Missouri; and Teasha Hughes of Ironton, Missouri. Linda is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, Linda was preceded in death by her two sons: Roger Twomey and Ronald Twomey; her brother, Clinton Goetz and sister, Beulah Marler. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bismarck, Missouri. She was a 1963 graduate of Bismarck High School. Linda worked as a shirt press operator for many years at the Shirt Factory. She enjoyed canning and gardening. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She spent the last 50 years raising her children, grandchildren, and some that weren’t even hers. Memorials may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
