Linda Ellen Miller, age 78 of Farmington, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Camelot Nursing Center in Farmington, Missouri. She was born on July 20, 1946, in Knob Lick, Missouri, to Richard Monroe and Opal Viola (Canter) Kinney.


On December 20, 1970, in Farmington, she was united in marriage to Dearl Gene Miller Sr., he survives at the home.


Other survivors are her three sons - Gregory "Todd" Hovis, Dearl Jr. (Katrina) Miller and Robert Lee Sr. (Sherri) Miller; grandchildren - Dillon James Miller, Julianne Elizabeth Everding, Sidnee Ellen Miller, Robert Lee Miller Jr., Timothy Lee Miller, Timothy Robert Miller Sr., and Brent Havens; great grandchildren – Timothy Robert Miller Jr., Ava and Hanna Miller and Ellie Lou Rayne Miller; two sisters – Wanda Hambrick and Pam Harp; special nieces – Penny Kinney, Jeanne Spain, Yvonne Eck and Sam Hamblin and many other nieces, nephews and friends and special friend – Michelle "Shelly" Boyer.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son - Tim Miller,

two daughters – Tamara Havens and Tina Fronsman; sisters - Georgia "Ree" Hicks, Opal "Kayo" Medley, Mary Jane Jones and Shirley "Billie" Ann Gonz;

sister-in-law - Janet Lorece (White) Kinney; brothers – James "Jimmy" Monroe Kinney, Orville "Leroy" Kinney and John "David" Kinney and ex-husband John Hovis.


Linda worked for several years at Trimfoot Shoe Manufacturing Company in Farmington, and later worked in the lunchroom for the Farmington School District; she also worked in the gift shop and as usher at the Plummer Family Theater near Farmington; she often

referred to herself and her brother, Jimmy as the "Black sheep of the family"; she dedicated her life to her family and always put others before herself, many family members would seek her advice about hard life situations because they knew she had already lived it and also because of her caring and loving heart; she was always ready to listen and never judge. Linda loved unconditionally and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.


Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri.


Visitation will also be from 9:00 -1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 9, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. John Canterbury officiating. Interment will be at Knob Lick Cemetery in Knob Lick, Missouri.
