Linda Joyce (Sample) Rodenburg.of Casa Grande, Arizona, 79 went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2016 in the presence of her long time love, Bob Clinard.  She enjoyed horses, her cats and dogs, a good book and a nice glass of wine.  She could often be found enjoying a good conversion on her porch with a cup of coffee.  She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and The Bay Area Crisis Nursery and belonged to the Trail Ride Club in Clayton, California.  Linda was born on July, 19, 1937 to Gladys (Freeland) and John Sample of Fredericktown, Missouri were she lived until she married and headed out west to California.     She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law - Robin & David Thomas of Walnut Creek, California; son, Robert Rodenburg of Casa Grande, Arizonia and three grandchildren who knew her as Grammine, Shara (Mark) Van Zantwyk, Reilly Thomas and Dylan Thomas;    She will forever be cherished in their hearts and in their minds. Linda was an honest, gracious loving mother, sister and grandmother who was a steadfasst force in their lives.  She had a fierce love of her sisters, Sharon Thurman of Casa Grande, Jennie Ramey of Marietta, Georgia and Nina Robinson (deceased) of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas who she would consider her best friends as well as her brother, Bill Sample (deceased) of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Linda will be missed by Greg Clinard, Nate Clinard and Josh CLinard who she loved as her own.  She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends who loved and admired her.  She will now live for eternity in the presence of the Almighty God.    Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home with internment at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown.     Condolences may be posted on this website.
