Mr. Lindell H. Kennon passed away January 14, 2010, at his Farmington residence at the age of 65 years, 10 months & 26 days. Lindell was born Feb. 18, 1944, in Bonne Terre, & was the son of the late William "Bill" & Virginia (Bone) Kennon.
Lindell served in the US Army from 1966-1968. Lindell was retired from General Motors Corporation. Lindell was a member of: * The Esther Baptist Church; * The Elvins Masonic Lodge #154. Lindell was a Farmington City Council Member, of Ward I, from 1988-1997. His activities included: Grandkids; Old Cars; Gas Pumps and Camping.
Survivors Include: his wife, Rose Marie 'King' Kennon, of Farmington. 2 Children: Keith Allen Kennon, of Park Hills; Julie Ann (Mrs. Jeff) Hinman, of Studio City, CA. 2 Sisters: Mary Lou (Mrs. John) Lukachick, of Park Hills; Debbie (Mrs. Jim) Goodson, of Farmington. 2 Brothers: Larry Kennon, of Doe Run; Ronnie (& Barbara) Kennon, of Irondale. 3 Grandchildren: Max & Hadley Hinman, of Studio City, CA; Blayne Allen Kennon, of Park Hills. Also, a special nephew, Brett Shelton, of Farmington.
Visitation : Saturday, 5-9 p.m. with a Masonic Service Saturday evening, 7 p.m. Visitation resumes Sunday at 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Sunday, 2:00 p.m., January 17, 2010
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Jonathan Jones officiating.
Interment : the procession to Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, will be lead by the Patriot Guard Riders.
