Lisa Arlene Hovis of Annapolis, MO passed away January 27, 2015 at her residence at the age of 52 years. She was born September 27, 1962 in Ironton, MO the daughter of the late Howard and Beulah (Lewis) Scaggs.
Lisa is survived by her daughters, Michaela Everhart of Annapolis, MO and Brooke Hovis of Patterson, MO. In addition to her daughters she is survived by five sisters; Karen Johnson and husband Rick of Annapolis, MO, Paula Hamilton and husband Charlie of Des Arc, MO, Linda Ward of Annapolis, MO, Diane Mann and husband Skip of Silva, MO, and Gayle Eaton of Imperial, MO, one brother; Jim Scaggs and wife Susie of Annapolis, MO, a granddaughter, Heaven Hamilton, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Scaggs.
Lisa was a 1980 graduate of South Iron High School. She worked as a home health nurse. She was a member of TheWay ForCowboys Church in Annapolis, MO.
