Lois Skaggs

            Lois Skaggs, 82, of Frankclay, passed away May 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 1, 1935 in Promise Land, Arkansas to the late Charles and Lula (Gillam) Purcell. Lois was a member of the Gumbo First Church of God.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Skaggs; three brothers, Frank, Henry and Tom Cruse; and three sisters, Helen Held, Loreen Tumbleson and Evelyn Brown.

            Lois is survived by her children, James Lee (Lisa) Metcalf, Tony Metcalf, Bill (Jessica) Skaggs, Barbara (Don) Sutton, Sandra White, Teresa (Jim) Faulkner, Tonya (Todd Evans) Bounds, Judy (Ron) Cooper, Altha (Brad) Burgess and Loretta (Randy) Barnhouse; twenty-four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; close special family friends, Jo Nell Link and Shirley St Gemme.

                     Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge from 4 pm until time of funeral service at 7 pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 with Rev. Cleo Counts officiating.
