Lora E. Vineyard

Lora E. Vineyard, age 99, passed away December 19, 2015 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. She was born October 9, 1916 to the late Lawrence and Laura (Huff) Lucy. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Aaron Lee Vineyard; son, Bob Vineyard Sr.; daughter, Jane Vineyard Stamler; foster daughter, Cora Sue Wald; great-granddaughter, Janie Burton; great-grandson, A.J. Quinly, sons in law, Alan Stamler and David Lore; brother, Ernest Lucy; sisters, Imo Ketcherside, Cora Hedgecorth and Helene Sitzes.

She was a member of the Desloge United Methodist Church.

Lora is survived by her daughter, Judy Vineyard Lore; daughter in law, Shirley Vineyard; grandchildren, Teri (Ken) Douglas, Bob Vineyard Jr., Dawn Wade, Tracy (Nancy) McTavish, Scott Lore, Timothy Burton, Tiffany Coleman, Brett Polk, Sue Krutuwicz, and Sharon Pearson; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the C.Z Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. John Swatosh officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
