Loren Gale Lambert

Loren Gale Lambert, affectionally known as Gale, passed away peacefully at the age of 87, at Country Meadows Nursing facility, in Park Hills, Missouri on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Gale was born on October 3, 1938, in Belleview Missouri to his late parents Dallas Pearl and Vida Marie Lambert.

Baptist by faith, Gale was a devoted member of Belleview Baptist Church, where his family’s roots ran deep. His father served faithfully as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Training Union director, often leading prayer meetings, while Dallas and Vida filled the sanctuary with special musical duets.

Gale grew up learning the value of hard work on the family farm. He began his education at the nearby Reed Creek School, known locally as “Henpeck,” a historic one-room, one-teacher schoolhouse measuring just 16 by 20 feet. He later attended Caledonia Grade School and graduated from Caledonia High School.

On June 29, 1962, Gale married the love of his life, Betty Adkins, who was born May 20, 1939. After spending several years living and working in maintenance for the Christian Brothers College High School, (CBC) where he ended up retiring after 30 years; Gale and Betty eventually returned to the beloved family farm raising cattle and cutting hay which he enjoyed. In his past time, he liked tinkering in his shed, welding and working on mechanics. Following the passing of his parents and, later, his dear wife, Betty Jean (Adkins), Gale remained devoted to the home and land he loved so deeply. Though Gale and Betty had no children of their own, they shared a deep bond and a life filled with love, devotion, and quiet dedication.

In his later years, following a stroke, Gale was able to remain in his cherished home on the farm through the generous care and dedication of Kyler, the son of a neighbor. Without Kyler’s assistance, remaining on the land he loved so dearly would not have been possible, and the family extends their heartfelt gratitude to him and his wife Becca, whom Gale thought of both as family.

Gale is survived by his cousins, Nancy and Logan Rich, Gene and Phyllis Rich, Jerry and Beverly Rich and Terry Lambert; nephew, Oliver Adkins; good friend, Skip Eggers, along with several other cousins, family members and friends, and caretakers Kyler and wife Becca Akers who are carrying on with Gales wishes of his family farm.

Visitation will be held at the Bryson Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until funeral service of 12:00 P.M. Pastor Don Akers will be officiating. Gale will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife, Betty, near his parents and parents-in-law in adjoining graves at Arcadia Valley Cemetery.

Let us remember Gale as a man of faith, hard worker, and a devoted friend. May Gale rest in eternal peace.
